At 12:00 PM on April 1, 2068, the Ruamkatanyu Foundation rescue team, along with Sawang Bamphen Thammasathan officers, received a report about a dog trapped inside a car wheel rim in Nong Man Pla Village, house number 159, Moo 13, Nong Phrong Subdistrict, Sri Maha Phot District, Prachinburi Province. They immediately brought equipment to the scene for inspection.
Upon arrival, they found the dog exhausted after being stuck with its head inside the wheel rim for an extended period. The prolonged entrapment caused swelling and bruising under its chin. The rescue team had to use a grinder to carefully cut the wheel rim, a process that took about 30 minutes. Eventually, they successfully freed the dog safely, much to the relief of the gathered villagers who had anxiously watched the rescue efforts.
Mr. Teeradech Phutha, 56 years old, stated that he had heard the dog’s cries since around 2:00 AM the previous night but didn’t think much of it. However, when he woke up later in the morning, he still heard the crying coming from behind the house. Curious, he went to check and found that the dog’s head was stuck in the gap of a wheel rim.
He attempted to pull the dog out for nearly an hour but was unable to free it. Realizing he couldn’t help on his own, he called the rescue team for assistance. He suspected that the dog had stuck its head into the wheel rim because there was food in the area—it must have crawled in to eat and then been unable to get out.
